LEADERS

At Grace we believe that everyone in our community has a voice, a story and something to offer.  We think of ourselves as a body- where every part counts.  All that to say that our leaders aren't any more important than anyone else in our community.  They've just been giving the task of serving others by leading.  Meet some of them below.

ALARIC KURZAWA - LEAD PASTOR

Alaric and Elisabeth met while they were both attending university in Texas, USA. They were married in 1997.  Elisabeth convinced Alaric to move to her beautiful homeland of Australia.  They crossed back over the Pacific Ocean in 2002 and Alaric has easily adopted to the Aussie way of life.

Alaric has been the lead pastor of Grace since 2006.  He still maintains a passion for US Football and loves reading and spending time with his family.  Alaric and Elisabeth have two sons and two daughters.

VLADIMIR AND VICKY GRISHIN - LEADERSHIP TEAM

Vicky and Vladimir met in 1964 whilst doing an Arts course at Monash in Clayton. They got married in 1968 and have lived in the same house in Seaford since 1976.  Vicky has a heart for outreach and heads up our work with the crisis centre in Frankston.  Vladimir has a heart for prayer and leads our prayer ministry.  They are parents of two happily married daughters and are thoroughly enjoying their new status as grandparents of two gorgeous grandsons.

BARRY AND PAMELA RICE - LEADERSHIP TEAM

Barry and Pamela were married in 1972 and have four sons and one daughter.  They've lived in a number of different places throughout the Melbourne area before settling down in their present home which is close by our Grace congregation. They are actively involved in the local congregation with setup duties, the pastoral team, and worship services.  When they aren't knee deep in parenting duties they enjoy going out to lunch together and indulging in a decadent chocolate dessert.  Ask them about their heavily guarded secret about where to find the best chocolate dessert.  They just might share it with you.

KARL LEIMINGER - LEADERSHIP TEAM

Karl is married to Angela and has two adult children.  He serves on the pastoral team and enjoys keeping fit by running, cycling and swimming. Sometimes he even does all three at once as he competes in races and triathalons on a regular basis.  He recently joined a not for profit organisation that is focused on helping people find employment and loves the outdoors, in particular, anything that offers an ocean view.
